Ne me quitte pas — book cover

01Overview

A companion book and record sleeve for Jacques Brel's Ne me quitte pas, a quiet, cyanotype-blue system where a single flower carries the whole emotional arc of the record.

Opening spread — a duotone portrait of Brel set against a narrow two-column biography.

02Approach

One image, one blue, one serif. The lotus opens, blooms and wilts across the spreads, echoing the songs; lyrics are set small and calm so the photography and the silence around it do the talking.

Lyric spread — the bud, closed. Ne me quitte pas, Marieke, Les Flamandes.
